NTU collaborates with the local community in efforts to maintain shared aquatic ecosystems.
Evidence :NTU has created an open campus that is more connected to the surrounding environment, and organized a “Community Communication and Sharing Session on Water Quality and Environmental Education” to discuss water environment issues with local communities in the city.
National Taiwan University opened up its campus to integrate with the community, and blend its scenery with the city. The original water canal is restored and the surrounding blue and green belts are now connected together to create a landscape waterway with flood retention function and friendly ecology.
National Taiwan University communicated and discussed with residents and communities about the feasibility of using water from the sewer next to Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park to irrigate the Hakka Farms, and co-organized the “Community Communication and Sharing Session on Water Quality and Environmental Education” with the municipal government and the foundation to discuss the issues of recycled water with the local community.
